I'm not sure what NYC is building, but I know 14 is probably less than what Austin, Seattle and Nashville are building. Probably behind Denver also. I can only imagine Miami, Atlanta, NYC and larger cities have lots more going on, but whats another 20 floor office tower to them?
Legacy Union - 5 Towers
Ally Center - 2 towers
Duke Energy - 1 tower
Stonewall Station - 1 tower (and 2 10 floor hotels)
Northwood Ravin - 1 tower
Intercontinental - 1 tower
42 Market - 1 tower
Then there are supposedly 2 more towers thats about to become public.
BofA at Legacy Union already rising. There should be another 20 floor office tower, a 10 floor office tower, 30+ floor office, 30+ Hotel and they'll probably hold off on the other piece until later. And this will be the site of a "rumored" urban mall (which the sq.
ft. of retail pretty much confirms it along with the developer going on record saying they're wanting to do that if it works.

DriveShack, the TopGolf competitor whose plans to open up shop in Raleigh were announced exclusively here on the Development Beat back in May, received permits last week for their three story driving range with a “large bar and dining area.”
The new 63,885 SF, $8 million facility is getting built by Ashland Construction and will be located on Corporate Center Drive in West Raleigh next to Interstate 40.

Good looking out on this one i have been wondering what the latest was and when this was supposed to get started. My sister has been talking about doing a family outing to Top Golf in Charlotte and had been telling her we were basically getting the same thing very soon!

You know they were going to build a Topgolf where IKEA is going at CTC. That fell thur though. I'm glad it did now.
But yeah Drive Shack is the same thing different brand/name.

Yeah i heard, but because of all the pushback it seemed like it would never get off the ground. Glad DriveShack was able to secure a better location and get it going relatively quickly as one of their first markets.
The news video link about Greensboro's skyline getting taller is about a few weeks old but it basically says once city council votes on the two parking decks next meeting, construction will begin on two tower projects, the 9-story ballpark tower (Project Slugger) and the 17-story Westin Greensboro. One of the decks will be a part of the Westin. It will be a 6-story parking deck stretching over a block over a road where the 11-story Westin hotel will sit on top of the deck making it 17-stories. The deck will have street level retail and restaurants. The other deck will be an 8-story deck with over 1,000 spaces built across the street from First National Bank Field and will serve the 9-story ballpark tower, general public and a 20-story mixed-use tower/Aloft hotel that developer Roy Carroll plans to build on top of the deck (28 story project). This deck will also have street level retail and restaurants. Developer Roy Carroll is responsible for a couple of large scale downtown developments. He renovated the 16-story Wachovia building, stripped it to its steel frame and converted it into a luxury condo tower. His residence is on the top floor. He is also building Carroll at Bellemeade east if the ballpark which is well under construction. Its a 6-story luxury apartments and Hyatt Place hotel development. The clubhouse, apartment and hotel pools wil overlook the ballpark.
Ballpark tower rendering. It has 9-floors but its actually the height of an 11 to 12 story building.
