Whom do you think will be your candidate? I'm having a hard time deciding between Sabra Jean Faires and Mike Morgan. It's because of Faires that the people of NC even have the right to a vote, but her lack of judicial experience concerns me...

Justice Edmunds! He's endorsed by 95 out of the 100 North Carolina sheriffs and nearly all of the current and previous State Bar leadership.

On the congressional side, I'm in the 4th, where David Price reigns supreme. He's a shoo-in, but what's the consensus on the opposition, Kimball and Googe? Which is a more legitimate contender?

I went with Mike Morgan. Faires is a heroine, but I was also concerned by her lack of judicial experience.

That's who I'm leaning towards, too. But really, bravo for Faires. She is a great North Carolinian.

Well, if my sheriff is one of the 95, that's reason enough to vote against him. My sheriff likes to publicly stick his nose where it doesn't belong.

Did the Raleigh News-Observer endorse Mike Morgan, or am I imagining that?

They didn't really seem to endorse any one candidate. They equally praised Faires and Morgan.
