Mea culpa.
My county was moved to a new congressional district with the redistricting. I just found a sample ballot from the March primary, and there were congressional races on the ballot in March. Sorry! The ballot I used in March didn't have a contested race for congress, and I mistakenly thought they'd been removed.

Not a problem. Like I said, I was surprised. They said the race wouldn't be there, but it was definitely there in my precinct.
This time I voted for Morgan. Hopefully, he trounces Edmunds in November & Cooper trounces McCrory. We can't do much about the house & senate, but that would put them on a leash.

I think there were a lot of ballots already printed and no time to reprint and distribute. I assume that means that any March votes for congressional primaries affected by redistricting were thrown out.

As far as I know, no March congressional votes should have counted. I'm not sure that any congressional district was left exactly the same.

They definitely were ignored. They even said that at the time, a la "you will see Congressional candidates on your ballot and can vote for one if you want, but they won't count because there's going to be a new primary on June 7".
