I like this kind of threads because I am also always curious where people get their user names. Many of them I can figure out and others make me really wonder. lol Mine is pretty self explanatory. Born, raised and still live in the desert. One guy on here is DesertRat but that's a 'guy' thing so I chose DesertBrat. I wish I had the imagination others have but I don't. I've actually thought about changing it but after all this time, why bother? I did change it once because I actually joined CD back in 2007 and then didn't come back for a long time. By the time I did I couldn't remember the right member name/password so started over.
Just my personal sail number and national letters from my Finn class sailboat. I have had the nummber for my last 3 boats so it is esay to remember. I thought about sailing as USA but the class association was slow in answering my mail so I regestered in Germany.

That tells me a lot about you as a person (all good and all interesting). Thanks for the explanation!
I'll give some explanation for my username, but first I'd like your take on it.
To me it sounds like the name of a person who is eloquent and interesting, and in touch with their own insecurities and confusion. It's evocative and a bit poetic.

Or someone that picked the wrong pill. (Do you want the red one, or the blue....)
If so, don't feel bad - I have a relative who's name was Brudge.
