Hi All,

I am driving my Nissan Altima 2000 and I am seeing a new behavior. When driving it tends to turn on the right hand side. Is that wheel alignment or wheel balancing? What is it? How much it cost?

If what you mean is it pulls to the right when driving, first thing to check is the tire pressure. A low tire will cause this.

Second thing is a possible brake caliper not fully releasing. This will also cause a pull. You can check this by comparing how hot one side is compared to the other after driving. Just (carefully) feel each front wheel to see if one is hotter than the other. If it is, you have a brake problem.

Hi Gimme3steps,

First thanks for the advice and suggestions. I did a penny test on my Nissan Altima 2000 and all my tires are completely worn out. Last time I replaced the tire was at 64K and now it is 96K. I guess next week I will take it to Discount Tire and replace all four of them.

This car hardly ever go to the highway and usually used to fetch groceries and stuff. So, in that case I will choose the medium range tires which are like $67 each.

Thanks,
