This forum probably isn't really the best place to get such information. First look up Woodstock's USDA zone, that will give you a basic idea. There are quite a number of gardening sites that google will find for more detailed info, and a call to the county office of the Extension Service will get you even farther.

Plus as they say there is 2 rocks for every dirt - Woodstock is not really the best bang for the buck for crops unless it's corn, cows, or sows. So unless you buy an already cultivated plot you need a backhoe and a good supplier of clean organic dirt.
