Sobro, I have NO issue with you, I actually agree that those above mentioned places are potentially dangerous, and are probably more dangerous than this salon. However, this murder actually took place inside of the beauty salon. I only stated the potential danger because the cop did not really react too well in that situation. I assumed the cop was unarmed, which is giving the cop the benefit of the doubt as to why she didn't do more to catch these murderers. I know that this can happen in the areas you named as well, and if something like this happened in those areas, I hope a cop is around with a gun and ready to go at any moment.

Agreed...but the crux of your argument was she should have carried her gun and should have known that beauty salons are a "potentially dangerous place"...which makes it seem like the COP did something wrong. Beauty salons are in fact no more "potentially dangerous" than most other places in the city....therefore why would she carry her gun there over any other place. But just for the record I know you have no issue with me, I have no issue with you either, just your statement.

Just for fun, I googled "murder in (place)" to see how many hits came up.

murder in butcher shop - 156,000
murder in beauty salon - 322,000
murder in grocery store - 1,010,000
murder in post office - 1,670,000
murder in restaurant - 5,160,000

Guess I'll be eating a lot more meat.

LMAO . See off-duty cops definitely need their guns in these "potentially dangerous" places.
