And yet 11 million open positions.

People aren't looking for work, they're living off their savings from the Pandemic. But that money is running out, things will only get better when people are forced to work to support themselves, unless they get bailed out again and Brandon just prolongs the misery

most likely they already spent that money to live on or used it to pay old debt .

to get the max of 504 one would have to makeover 50k ….that means if they aint working and banking that dough so they dont have to work down the road they would have to take a 50k pay cut in lifestyle .

i dont know many that can do that and pay their bills . it makes little sense…

millions have just retired early and others cant work because they wont vaccinate.

4.4 million workers vanished and they all are not on unemployment which is really not a lot of money now for those who do need to work .

at best you had to make 50k to get half that in unemployment…most are getting way less than 504 a week from unemployment.

it is doubtful a 35-40k worker is living on half that

as well as higher level earmers were not going to go from 100k to 25k on unemployment

Lol

Nobody got enough pandemic money to support themselves for a year straight with no job

But let's keep on topic.

Apparently there's no more cream cheese?

Seventh must have great health with outstanding blood pressure. Since he experiences no cortisol increases, I'm pretty sure he'll live a long life.

That's what I've been thinking. He must have a robust immune system. He doesn't sweat the small stuff.

There's also a lot of inheritances being passed down from the boomers and plenty of boomers died during COVID.

I don't completely discount extended UI but I don't think it plays a major role in todays labor shortage.
