I've been saying all along the government is hoarding masks and lying to the public. If they told people the truth, NYers would be better protected and the numbers would drop.

I am not religious but I also do not dismiss the possibility of a higher being or supernatural force/entity either. Keep an open mind.

Science still has no explanation for the whole reason for this world/universe and likely never will.

The question is if people in the US would have hoarded them and resulted in an even worse shortage of masks for medical workers. It’s a pretty cynical take to think that and even more cynical if they enacted policy based on such, but cynical doesn’t necessarily mean untrue.

That’s not the same thing as evangelical leaders promoting that they have a cure for this pandemic or can simply stop it which is what the people in that video quoted. Keep an open mind, bud, even to science. Sometimes it ends up being kind of important.

My post was in response to bluedog, who seems to be mocking religion.

Not all evangelicals are the same. Stop painting with a broad brush. And you don’t need to tell me about science. I am a believer in science but like I said, I also don’t dismiss the stuff science cannot and will never be able to explain.

It seems to be flattening. That is a good sign. Of course it was bound to happen, just wasn’t sure when.

They won't have to move until the housing courts start processing evictions. That could be months.

A lot of gentrifiers can just make back to their home states or communities.
