Given the timing, it wouldn't be Biden anyway, it would have been the Hildabeast. Given her disastrous tenure as Secretary of State, no, I wouldn't expect she would have done any better.
As far as Biden, he's never RUN anything, he was a legislator. No one really has any idea how he would be as an executive at anything, because he's never done it before.
Many US Presidents have been Senators. I never liked the idea of a business man handling a nation but you mention timing. Post Corona you may have a very large progressive agenda to reinvigorate the economy. In order for that to work you will need people who believe in government to work in government. Not people elected to cabinet positions to erode it's role. Like we have seen. But it's all good, if you choose to vote for him for reelection that's your call. I have witnessed his performance under this crisis. I pass.
You know what after years of seeing theses guys, if people want to send them money, that's on them. But if they make promises they should be liable for lawsuits

Good point. Serving as a legislator (and VP is basically a glorified legislator with no real job except to break ties in the Senate should they arise) is far different from actually having to make decisions in an executive capacity.
Judging from Biden's sideline commentary (calling the decision to close off flights to China premature, xenophobic, racist, etc.) in this situation, we should be thanking our lucky stars that he isn't president.
There are huge First Amendment issues with keeping religious congregations from meeting. There are a number of issues I'm surprised have gotten legal challenges, this is probably the most blatant.

I wish that after they gather they'd only hang around each other, but sadly they will sicken others.
