Absolutely. Have many a friend in healthcare so I am aware of the craziness in the medical fronts. A lot of risk, responsibility and anxiety all mixed together to wear you down without your knowing it.

This im seeing allot of. Instead of fighting among eachother with useless arguments the real issue just punched them in the face. They want people to go back out there and work like nothing is happening meanwhile working from the safety of their own home.

One thing this virus is doing is showing peoples true nature. Im still waiting for a celebrity to take advantage and start selling designer masks at mark up prices. Or a celebrity to endorse a certain brand of mask, gloves, hand sanitizer, just to fill their own pocket.

Have you ever even babysat before? These screens don't last long enough for entertainment. You can get used smartphones for a pretty decent price, but a lot of times you've got to also buy service unless it's just wifi in which case you need to do a decent configuration and a home internet layout that's conducive to that.

Mark it up and put some of proceeds towards funding charities to support healthcare workers wouldn't actually be too bad of an idea.

I think the real issue is if the rest of the country really is just a couple of weeks behind New York's curve. Most states and cities aren't taking this very seriously so far, so there's a pretty strong belief out there that it's really just a big city issue. We should hope that's true, but there's a decent chance it isn't as there are examples like little city New Orleans and the state of Louisiana being definitely on an exponential growth trajectory.

It’s going to be with us permanently like the cold or flu. Society’s just got to learn to live with it.

The ONLY thing he has done right so far is cutting the flights from China. Everything else is a huge failure and going to result in an enormous disaster.
It already has."

oh, he is not..... ('every chance he gets...").

calm down..... no point in pointing fingers and blaming the President for "some other country's deadly (world) mistake"......
by not saying anything about "it" months and months ago....and letting "their people" get on planes and fly around the world with their deadly chinese virus.....

Quote:

It started out as the “Wuhan virus”

Then it was the “Wuhan coronavirus”

Then, “China Coronavirus"

"with everyone from researchers to news outlets—including those inside China—referring to it as such. . ."

Then.....subsequently: "2019-nCoV"

"and finally, on Feb. 11, the World Health Organization (WHO) gave the disease an official name: Covid-19".

"To be clear, Covid-19 refers to the disease. “Co” refers to corona, “vi” to virus, and “d” to disease."

i know - it's hard for you to understand facts....

Well, the rare bit of good news has been that thus far, it looks like the virus does not mutate very quickly or dramatically which would mean it would not be something that is permanently with us and coming in new mutations with new vaccines to develop like the flu. That isn't definitive yet, but neither is the idea that it's going to be a long-term recurring "season."
