Astoria to Grand Central (transfer to, train, rain)

Hey Guys,

Is Astoria to Grand Central doable? Convenient?

I know NOTHING about Astoria..just writing here to see if it's worth trekking out to...thanks!

Yeah, takes about 20 minutes from Broadway to Lex where you'll need to transfer to the 4 or 5 and take the train just one stop to Grand Central, which takes only a couple of minutes. You could also transfer to the 7 at Queensboro Plaza if you prefer not to feel like you're stuck in a sardine can every morning.

the better way would be to xfer at queens plaza for the 7 to grand central
