I understand that there is an entrance to the Grand Hyatt hotel from Grand Central Station - that the entrance is inside Grand Central Station so that you can go to the hotel without walking outside. Where in Grand Central Station is this entrance? Is is open 24/7?

I will be in NYC in a few weeks, coming from the Queens area on the 7 subway train. I just didn't want to get off in a big station like GCC - and be wondering around trying to find that particular entrance.

Thanks in advance !!!

There is no entrance from the subway station to the hotel. There is from train station. Get of at the northern end of the 4/5/6 platform. Go upstairs as if you are going to the train station. There are glass doors to your left that lead to a passage way out to 42ndStreet, before you get to the station foyer. Just before you get to the street there are doors on your left. Grand Hyatt some times closes them, and I am not sure what they do at night when the train station closes down.
