Would you guys consider South Jamaica to be the 'worst' in the entire Borough of Queens ?

I would say Far Rockaway is the worst when it comes to Queens. South Jamaica a close 2nd.

South Jamaica has always been worse. I lived most of my life in the SE Queens area and know every neighborhood quite well. The best thing South Jamaica has going for it right now is that it's western boundary is adjacent to York College of CUNY and the transportation hub at Sutphin/Archer. Those two things have really brought major improvements to the area.

Jamaica proper is very commercial and the residential neighborhoods that comprise it are working/middle class, for the most part.

The boundaries of 11433 actually include part of Jamaica. The area below Merrick Blvd would include South Jamaica, though.
