Can anyone recommend a bed bug exterminator? My main concern is that my pets don't end up dead. I'm planning on boarding them at the vet's for a day or two while the extermination is happening, but there's a lot of talk of dusting crevices with powder, etc. and I'm afraid there will be residual toxins that my cats will get into. So a good exterminator who's very pet-sensitive would be a godsend.
Two I've been checking out are Magic Exterminating and Advanced Exterminating, if anyone has any info on them.
Many thanks in advance for help.

Hi Wevi, not sure if you're still looking... but we used a great Brooklyn-based extermination company , and they use low toxicity chemicals which don't cause any harm to pets

They will all TELL you their poisons are salfe for pets and humans. Whether we choose to believe them or not is a personal choice.
If your cat and your baby die mysteriously, you may have made the wrong choice.

With cats, assume that EVERYTHING that is powdered or sprayed will wind up on their coats.

When we had cats, the only thing I would use was boric acid...IN THE WALLS and bait enclosed type insecticides places high up in cabinets and behind inaccessible things like stove and refrigerator.
With cats, I would trust NOBODY who came in with a sprayer...NOBODY.

Steam is the only safe option for humans and animals, and it happens to be the one that actually works.
