i met a lady once she was terrorized of riding the subway so she almost never left the lower east side of manhattan.

Can’t even say I blame her , there’s people getting stabbed on the trains daily . I highly doubt she didn’t leave the neighborhood tho unless she luckily works close to home . She was probably taking Uber or taxis , and plus there is buses in the Lower east side that run pretty frequently

Make sure you go to Ellis Island. It is fantastic. Same boat as Lady Liberty. I would allot more time to Ellis. Maybe statue in the morning and Ellis in the afternoon.
