Hi all,
I was selected for further processing for MiMA in March. Then COVID happened, and they have been nearly radio silent. When I email them, I just get a stock response every time. My log number is in the 11,XXXs, is there any way to know what they are currently processing so I can see where I am in line? I know there's no *real* way to tell when mine will come up, but it would give me an idea if they're 1,000 logs off, or 10,000 logs off from me.

**Note: They won't respond when I ask them what number they are up to.

Mima isn't a new building. Its was built 10+ years ago. You're most likely replacing an original tenant who is moving out. When a situation like that happens they typically contact several people and have them all prepared but there is only one apartment. Great building though, one of my old co workers lives in it.

Do you happen to know if there's a way (besides asking the management company, which won't tell me) what Log Number they are processing?

No.

My experience is many years ago I was on a waiting list for a related building. I got called for an apartment someone moved out of. I went to my interview and they let me know I was one of the back ups and they were interviewing me incase the numbers above me didn't end up qualify. A number above me must have taken the apt because I was told I was back on the waiting list. I then moved out of NYC and was taken off the list.
