So then 20% of 663 apartments is 132 affordable units.

What are the income ranges for these apartments? Say, a 1 bedroom.

Hmmm, I'm surprised I never got any paperwork on the building because I've been on the RELATED mailing list for a LONG, LONG time.

A developer gets tax breaks and zoning bonuses, For this he agrees to keep 20% of his apartments affordable long-term for those making the median income or less. So one might get an apartmment in a building for $600 that would ordinarily rent for $2500.

Look on the bright side: Many folks are flat-out rejected. Sometimes you gotta 'expect the unexpected good.'

UPDATE: so i spoke to my contact person at Related and it seems that i've been pre approved and that the only reason that i am back on the waiting list is because currently they dont have any vacancies, she did mention that i'm at the top of the list but said they average 2 vacancies a year for MiMA *HUGE BUMMER* as my log # is 4**

She mentioned that i could apply for other lotteries if i wanted to
