I guess no one from this forum has moved in yet since they started 2 days ago? If someone has please post your experience and anything we should be aware of to help those who are moving in afterwards. The more we know the better

It seems we were all told different things...I was told the lease would be mailed. I officially move on the 20th which is my lease date but I pick my keys up on the 18th. I was told I can move boxes over the weekend but scheduled for furniture moving on the 20th.

OMG did you have to change the date on your lease? Did they give you a copy of the lease?

FYI...I picked up my keys yesterday. I stopped by today to clean the bathroom and floors since it was used as the workers break room. Mirror in bathroom is cracked. So I will have to tell management I did see someone moving in today. I officially move in on Monday, but will be moving boxes in tomorow. I love the blinds on the windows...you can see out but no one can see in.

I'm all moved in. if I can offer a piece of advice, it would be to start your move as early as possible. my time was 9am and I got there at 10am. I was able to go at my own pace and use both elevators as much as I wanted. I had to go back to my old place and pick up more stuff, so I made a 2nd trip and stopped to eat. When I came back around 2pm there was maybe 4 different families moving in at the same time. So this meant a wait for the elevators, having to maneuver around people's dollies, etc....either way thats the worst complaint I have so the process wasn't bad. they let you pull up your uhaul to the front entrance inside the parking lot so it's really easy. Met the the super... he's really nice and made an effort to remember my name when I saw him later in the day.

Do you have to pay the full rent even if you move after the 15?
