Ok, so I'm watching the news this evening and, they are showing New Years celebrations from around the USA and the World
The fireworks, the seas of people, and the NYC Ball Drop in Times Square we know, is the Biggie
There were also some newer things they showed that happened
A Peach Drop, a Pickle Drop, a Fish Drop, an Apple Drop; one in Asia? had a huge red high-heeled shoe Drop and in the huge shoe was a transvestite lounge singer LOL
So when is New Mexico going to get a Beautiful Lighted Chile Ristra Drop?!

I have never been tempted to trek to Times Square for that seething mass of semi-inebriated/hysterical humanity. I can barely tolerate the place on a good day: ie: non-event. I would however, be willing to go outside New Years eve and look up at the bright, visible stars and make up chile-constellations
