This artist, Perla Batalla, performed on the historic Mesilla plaza last Sat. night as part of the Border Book Festival. Warm breeze, dimming twilight, and this beautiful, traditional Mexican song from an incredibly talented singer. Wow, what a night it was. I wish I had the Kleenex concession ...there were lots of damp eyes before she was done with Cucurrucucu.
Is a youtube link ok here? Not sure I've seen one. Anyway.... La Perla!
