We will be relocating to New Mexico next summer, probably to the Albuquerque area. I have a son with severe disabilities, and was wondering if anyone knows what services are like for young children. My husband read somewhere that NM is one of the "top ten" states being rated for services for disabled children. Does anyone have any experience with this, or have any information about this? We now live in Washington state, and thought our services were pretty good here.
We are relocating for my husband's job, but it will still be voluntary.
In Albuquerque, contact RCI New Mexico to see what services they may be able to offer your son. If they cannot help you, I'm sure they will be able to put you in contact with an outfit that can. Hope this helps...
