Holy Moley!! The photos are gorgeous, but as a recently transplanted Wisconsin native who hasn't been out to White Sands it sure looks like the aftermath of a snow storm!!
it's an interesting place to visit in the summer, because your eye sees all this white which tries to register as 'cold' - yet your sweating body refuses to believe it

from the early 1700s and was an important paraje or stopping place along the famous
Camino Real, the Royal Road from Mexico City to Santa Fe.

Rehoboth, NM about 5 miles east of Gallup, NM. I think Rehoboth is a village that grew around Rehoboth Christian School. It is scenic out in that area...
