This is a photo of my neighbor the past week, giving performances to the school kids in the tepee he set up on the schoolgrounds. He is a mountain man reenactor who participates in Mountain Man rendezvous on a regular basis, as well as a craftsman who makes jewelry and scrimshaw items for sale.

I don't have too many, but I'll share a couple from my last trip through. They were taken with a 35mm inside a car, but they work. You have a beautiful state. I wish I would have had a camera coming out of Colorado into Northern NM!

I'm not exactly sure where this one was from. I thought it looked really cool, though:

This one was near Santa Cruz

The sunsets are truly awesome most days here in Alamogordo up a bit on the west slope of the Sacramentos.

We haven't had any rain in ABQ since May 2 and I'm feeling like a burnt piece of toast. Time to post some pictures of the Valles Caldera where I went cross-country skiing this past February. It's off Rt. 4 between Jemez Springs and Los Alamos. Pictures cannot capture the sheer vastness of the area and the strange perspective you get while there.
