I just don't see it. The "regular" mom and pop type of pizza places with authentic delicious pizza are just too good in this area. I can see this kind of chain working in other areas of the country but not in North Jersey. Perhaps South Jersey is a better spot.

My area of South Jersey is full of authentic delicious pizza.
the question was: "Is Bayonne a good location for a Cici's Pizza Buffet?"
and the answer is NO!
we've even elaborated on our answer and said that no place like this should open up anywhere near New York or New Jersey. we've even said Domino's is horrible. is that not enough???
Can we please differentiate something? Domino's pizza is terrible. When I take a bite into their cheesy bread though I start bouncing all over the room like I do when listening to Lady Gaga music! I don't know why, but one of those spices on their cheesy bread is just so damn delectable!
i lived in Bayonne for 8 yrs. If the food is decent and you advertise and send out coupons you could do ok. you can do a movie promo cause you'll be right their. probably will get a younger crowd, like teenagers but they pay too. people love to eat out in that town and make sure you deliver too cause most places do. parking is sparse in Bayonne so all the eateries deliver. let me know how you make out cause i'll tell my friends to go.
it's really been awhile since i've had pizza in bayonne, but i always liked pompeii on broadway. my brother's favorite is george's pub and grub on ave e - but warned, it's thin, thin thin! (think bar pie)
George's Pub and Grub is long gone, unfortunately.
Recently went to a CiCi's in NC for the first time. I will more than likely NOT return.
Salad was okay- no tomatoes
Soup was half way decent for a buffet place
Pizza tasted like it was made the day before
cinaminn rolls were too doughy
As a former resident of that great city I can tell you to look somewhere else to open up or you will soon close. There are too many good pizza joints to compete with. My choices:
1 Fontana's (hello Michael from Mr. Mike)
2 Pompei
3 Naples
4 Vinnie's (Broadway)
5 Joe's
6 Pizza Master
