Very long, probably over 2.5 hours, more like 3 door to door is my guess and that's on a good weather day.

Agree. Three hours door-to-door when visiting family in Brooklyn (that's from PJ station) so let's say 2.5 hours door-to-door each way from NB station.

You can view timetables for NorthEast Corridor line & see fares at www.njtransit.com

Round trip PJ / NY Penn is $29.50. a bit less for NB / NY Penn.

Half price if you're 65 or older.

Thanks for you reply. Daly I have to live in Brooklyn with my job. However my boyfriend lives in NJ (Summit right now), I was just wondering how hard it was going to be to get to one another.

I think Brooklyn to Summit is more doable, esp once they fix the problems from the storm at the Harrison PATH station. You can figure out the times online.
