I am possibly looking to get a job in Jersey City.

I am not used to using public transportation.

I would like to go from the Caldwell area to Jersey City

I know I would probably have to get the train in Montclair but I also know the light rail in in JC I am having trouble trying to connect the two.

Anyone that could possibly tell how to get from Caldwell to JC by any means would be appreciated.
thanx in advance.

Without looking at the maps your best bet might be a bus to Newark Penn Station and then a 15 minute PATH train ride to JC. Go to njtransit.com and type in your starting and finishing addresses. It'll give you a few different options.

Good luck. I used to take mass transit and prefer it much more than being stuck in a car as I am now

What part of Jersey City will you be working in. First you take the Montclair line to Hoboken then depending on where you work you will either switch to the PATH for Journal SQ or Historic Downtown or to the Light Rail for Harborside or Exchange Place / Newport.
