I will be attending NYU this fall and I'm currently live in Fort Lee. I need suggestions on commuting to NYU from Fort Lee. I normally take bus 320 from secaucus (drive from home to secaucus) to Times Square when I want to go to NYC. But my classes are night classes that I have to leave home around 5pm, I'm worried of the possible heavy traffic around that time.
So I'm wondering, is there any better/faster ways to get to NYU, is taking the train better than taking bus?

Thanks!
the easiest method is to take a bus across the bridge to the bus terminal and then take the subway down to NYU
