hi!
I will start to commute from East Brunswick (bus stop is Race Track Rd) to Hoboken/Jersey City riding NJ Transit bus 68.
In the morning or in the evening, if I miss the last bus, what are the viable options (except driving)?
1. should I drive to Transportation Center or Hilton to take a CoachUSA/Suburban Bus to Port Authority NYC then take NJ Transit bus 126 back to Hoboken/Jersey City? (in the evening, take bus 126 to PABT then take a Suburban Bus to EB?)
2. Would CoachUSA/Suburban honor my NJ Transit monthly pass and charge a nominal fee? or I have to buy a one-way ticket in full fare?
For Hoboken , drive to New Brunswick or Jersey Avenue and take the Northeast Corridor line to Newark Penn station and switch to the PATH train to Jersey City or Hoboken where every you want to go.
You can try South Amboy , and try asking a business owner near the station if you can use his lot to park in for a small monthly fee.
