Yes there are those two on the edge of town, Google maps doesn't show them when searching for groceries in Camden so I didn't find them. The others seem locally owned low end convenience stores. Still quite impressive, two grocery stores for a town of about 77.000 people. It must get quite crowded there.
I went to Google map and typed Camden, NJ supermarket. A lot of those small grocery stores call themselves supermarket. Language barrier?

Probably not. I think Camden residents probably frequent the Cherry Hill Shop Rite on Route 70. I know that Rutgers runs a shuttle for the students to that store for their grocery shopping, so I imagine that's the default option for residents as well.

I wonder what she did wrong to have such a blighted street named after her.
Yeah, you wonder. I think it was chosen because it's a short street and there wouldn't be too many complaints. I wish cities and towns would stop changing street names. There's not a darned thing wrong with Main, Union, Maple or North. We have plenty of MLK and JFK. Just stop.
And furthermore...(no, I can't sleep) there used to be a canal street in the city where I grew up. It was next to the canal that was there in the 1800s. But no, it had to be torn up and become a Boulevard. They didn't even name it Canal Blvd.
Really. Try to be consistent. They were probably only one shy.
I've never had a problem there, but I had government business, was at the Rutgers campus or the waterfront. Stuff can happen in those places, but it doesn't very often.
