Awww Country, how we miss you!!! I actually didn't do much cooking at all t this Thanksgiving, because I got really sick the weekend before, and have spent more time resting than anything else this week. Plus, my kitchen has been dismantled in preparation for new countertops and the rest of the house looks like the "during" picture of an episode of This Old House But thank you for thinking that I must have been cooking up a storm. Maybe next year!!

So sorry I'm late - just been super busy - working 3 jobs and kids, husband, house etc... Oh and a fire in my backyard TWICE on the day before Thanksgiving.

Country, Comet, Dare, Val - wow all in the same thread - well then again Country brings us all out for some reason I even noticed that I FINALLY got my first gold bar! I did rep everyone, but forgot to use the scale so didn't write that it was me - sorry.

Hope ya'll recovered from the feast of Thanksgiving. I cooked for 10 hours straight and then worked Fri-today! More festivities this weekend, 5 birthdays in 4 days in my family!

Anyhow, will be back for the Christmas party! All our hugs, thoughts and prayers to everyone - and special one for Country! BTW December is the PAY IT FORWARD month - do your part, trust me you'll make someone's year!

Hey girl...yep my holiday was good, despite the mishaps of the week LOL - at least I had the day off, can't say the same for Christmas though

Sorry to hear that your situation has not improved - prayers are being sent your way - as always.

Thanks for the birthday wishes - although when you get my age you tend not to realize the day is any different than others LOL. I had a belated present in going to NH for the 2nd time this year - went in OCT and got to see my oldest sons - first time in many years.

aw, thanks Country! spending it being spoiled? well... I'm afraid I'll be spending it in a 10-12 hour car ride. we're driving up so that I can spend the weekend looking after my dad while my mum gets a well-deserved break in NYC at my nephew's first college concert. celebration will be a little delayed I guess.
