I guess Tamworth is in 2 + feet zone.. Sure do hope so.... I will be upset with anything less that 14"..

I want to do more x-c back country too. Last weekend i saw these ice circle things.... wiki image


I just saw one and pretty soon it will be in my photobucket. never seen one before, and at first i thought it was trash, which always upsets me.

It's smart to not want to drive in NH during blizzard months, though NH does a pretty good job keeping roads clear compared to states like RI and even MA. Exeter is a very scenic and pretty town, but I wouldn't recommend buying a house here since our property taxes are insanely high, even for southern NH.

very wise to postpone your trip...from the weather reports sounds like you wouldn't have been able to get much accomplished, if you even made it to the airport!

I am glad now that I postponed - looking again at weather channel, it is a major storm coming at you. I hope you all keep power and heat throughough the storm! It was very stressful especially dealing with not-so-nice airline agents to reschedule, and it cost me some - but I am set now for first week of March so I will be back for some Qs ....
Those ice cirles are beautiful!

I think you made the right decision
There were 3 models for snowfall, the one u posted was least reliable. But I think it might be the more accurate one given snow started earlier
