That's right, no more I-65 during rush hour for Pimpy! No more idling in traffic! No more keeping an eye out for one of Goodlettsville's finest while taking the Conference Drive exit off Vietnam Veterans, then getting right back on the interstate ramp to get ahead of traffic.

As of two weeks from today, I will have a sub-five minute commute.

All you people who love to crash your cars on Vietnam Veterans in the morning and stall traffic for miles, I will no longer be part of the mess you create. Like the MORON in the Impala this morning who slammed into the back of a Tahoe near Center Point Road, backing up traffic almost to New Shackle Island. You got to me today, but in two weeks, I will not be one of the masses that your idiocy affects.

The traffic on I-65 Southbound, which according to traffic.com is "generally jammed from Dickerson Pk. to Trinity Ln." will no longer be my concern. Everyone else can wreck until there's no more wrecking to be done! I just might ride my bike to the office on pretty days.

Starting June 19, the only time I'll hear the sounds "toot toot beep beep" will be when I'm listening to R. Kelly's "Remix to Ignition".

What a great day!!!!!

I've been taking a little less money for 12 years just NOT to have to drive to Nashville. I work on the northern border of TN and drive only about 10 miles to work. It would have to be CRUCIAL for me to work in Nashville, although my son drives to Cool Springs to work. Ugh...not me.
