My Dh, DD and I are looking to move from Poland back to the states in the next few years and we have chosen Tennessee as our future home. I have been looking into several towns and one that I really like the local landscape of is Hendersonville. Can anyone tell me any of your inpression, thoughts or opinions, or even facts about the area? Maybe things like: schools, shopping, friendliness of the community, churches and any that have a good community involvement program, things for kids to do, etc... I think that it is always good to get a first hand opinion! Thanks, Danni

Hmmm...I could swear that I responded to this earlier. I lived in Hendersonville for 18 years until last fall. It's a sweet town. Nice houses (pricey), well kept lawns, good schools, low crime, shopping, lots of churches, and very family oriented. Traffic to Nashville is a headache, but if you're working and living in town, you'll do fine. It's an easy place to live and very pretty with the lake and all.
