Hello all,
We are thinking about moving to Ashland City. Are the schools good? What about crime? Is the lake there nice? Looking for a nice lake area between Nashville and Clarksville....any info would be great! We're also looking for horse properties....

Well, the Cumberland River runs right through Cheatham County. There's not much in the way of lakes between Nashville and Clarksville except for small ones like Marrowbone.

I would say the schools are good, not the greatest, not the worse. And crime would be relatively low.

You might also think about some of the areas in Robertson County. That used to be prime horse country; althought not so much anymore.
