My family is considering relocating to Nashville, TN from Memphis. I have a wife and two kids, second grader and pre-schooler. I was looking in the towns of Pleasant View and Ashland City. Both look affordable and deem to have good schools. I also like this area becuase many of the houses being build are on nice peices of property such as an acre or so. Any comments on these area would be greatly appreciated. How does peoperty calue hold up and such. Thanks.

I would stay away from Ashland City and move either to Pleasant View or look into the Pegram or Kingston Springs Areas as well.
You also might want to check the schools and school system again before your move as that county has undergone a major school leadership change that seems to be causing quite a stir among the local residents too.

Smile More information about Pegram

Can you tell me more about Pegram? Are you from the area? My wife and I just bought 10 acres in Pegram and are planning on relocating sometime in the future. We have traveled through TN numerous times and the people have been very friendly. We currently live in Minnesota and are looking for a warmer climate yet still want a change of seasons. We think TN is beautiful country and hope that we can make the move sooner rather than later.

Thanks for any information.
