The Viking store at the Factory in Franklin is closing this month. They chose not to renew their lease. I guess the parent company wants to focus more on promotion that cooking? It's a fabulous kitchen store and I will miss it. Even more I'll miss the COOKING SCHOOL which was just wonderful and I am kicking myself for not taking a few more classes.

Does anyone know of any other cooking classes? I know Whole Foods has some. Anyone else?????

I heard that The Factory wanted tenants to go to a month-to-month lease and that The Factory wants to become an event facility rather than a retail destination. When I got the email about the Viking store, I hoped they'd open elsewhere, but looks like that is not going to happen. (Take what I heard with a grain of salt. I'm not one who is in the know. I did hear that from a source that would know, though.)
