A Klingon would probably be a better choice at this point than either of the clowns running this time around. At least Klingons value honor.

Has anyone voted yet? I heard there were long lines. I need to take my elderly mother and the shorter the wait time the better. I went to the Franklin Farmers Market yesterday. There were about 30 people in line for the hot apple cider donuts. I have NEVER seen that many people in line for donuts!

Anyway, walked through the Factory and there's an Early Voting place in there, where I guess Juel salon used to be?? Line out the door.

Very patriotic people here in Nashville. In Australia, voting is compulsory and you're fined $20 if you don't show up at the polls.

The wait is shorter in Nolensville, if y'all want to make a day of it and get lunch at the Amish store or Martin's. I heard it took 5 minutes there.

Brentwood has been rockin'. I haven't heard about if there are any waits up the street from you at Berry's Chapel Church of Christ.

Yes, that's where we thought we'd go, to the church. The lights were flashing yellow the last time I went past there with a cop directing traffic and I just wanted to get through the mess.

Can I really go ANYWHERE? I thought you had to go to your own precinct???

No, that's only on election day. When you sign in, they program the machine with the appropriate ballot for your voting precinct.

We voted at Berry's Chapel church and it went very smoothly. There is a handicapped entrance around the front. They gave us a sticker that said we voted AND they had a basket full of lollipops.

DumDums.

Hmmmmmmm . . . . . .

Good job!

The Brentwood location was super busy again today. I think I will road trip out to Nolensville tomorrow.

I should have mentioned earlier that you do have to vote in your home county. SO if you live in Sumner but work in Nashville, don't try to vote in Nashville.
