Hey Folks,

Need suggestion from people either staying or stayed in Polo Park. Is it good to move in this apartment?

How about the security?
How is the management staff at Polo Park?
Any issue with the apartment you faced like mold (I read on apartmentguide.com).
What's the approx electricity bill if I stay alone in the apartment?

I have already checked apartmentguide.com for Polo Park reviews.

Hope to get some good reply by the end of the day!

Thanks.

I lived at Polo Park back in 2006-2007. They were in the middle of a big renovation of most of the units in the spring of 2007 and I moved out just before they were finished. I always felt safe there and the management was fine (nothing special, but nothing bad either). Never had problems with mold, but I've heard that from other residents as well. Perhaps most of those problems were fixed during the 2007 renovation. I paid around $50/month for electricity, but I use heat and A/C VERY moderately so I'm sure a "normal" person would be higher.

I lived in Polo Park at 2 separate times (1998-1999, 2002-2003). I never really had any issues. Probably the worst thing would be being in the flight path to the airport. It's something you can probably get used to though. I did and hardly noticed it after awhile.

Never had the mold issue, but I'm sure that results from the May 2010 flood. I'm sure many, if not all of the lower level apartments were affected. Target next door definitely was and was closed for awhile if I remember correctly. So, not sure what has been done to the buildings after the flood.

As for electric, my higher bills tended to be in the summer, with air, and I didn't use heat much in the winter, unless it got REALLY cold. It was just me there also. I think my highest bill there was $130 maybe? It's been awhile, I can't remember.

Hope this helps!
