SInce I struck gold with the dentist recommendations from everyone and found a good one, I thought I would try to get recommendations for a good primary doctor. My two teens and I are healthy, husband has had some back issues and surgeries so it would be great to have a doctor that is affiliated with a hospital or group if further back treatment is needed for him in the future. Willing to drive to Nashville but hoping to find one in or a little closer to Murfreesboro.

I'm not sure if they have any "branches" in the 'Boro, but we have always been very satisfied with Heritage Medical Associates in Nashville. I've been going to Dr. James Cato for years. Great doctor, great bedside manner.

I like my doctor, Dr. Christine Hoffman
Family Practice Partners
I found her through the links for our health insurance and she turned out to be great.
On a personal note (any maybe TMI for some) I went to her for my first visit when we moved here last year. Told her something felt off with my thyroid gland, it felt swollen. My doctor in New Hampshire just passed it off.
Well, after my visit with Dr. Hoffman I had an ultrasound referral and saw a specialist and had half my thyroid removed within a month and a half of moving here. It's all good now and I am glad she listened to me and referred me on to a specialist.
