Calling all creative minds!! I'm looking for a place to have my wedding reception in the Nashville area. I know the usual places, but would love any and all suggestions.

TIA!

There was a story in the Tennessean one day this week about unusual places to have a wedding. One of them was the Legislative Plaza. I didn't really read the article so I'm not sure where else they listed.

Here's some suggestions. Cheekwood (pricey but nice). Maybe the Frist Center (I'm not sure whether that's doable or not). Union Station. Bicentennial Mall. Centennial Park (maybe use the bandshell). One of the art galleries in Nashville or Franklin. The Bell Building (throw the bouquet off the top of it). Greer Stadium (beer, hot dogs and rice). Fort Negley (scenic views of downtown). Or you could really do it Nashville style and hold it in the median of I-65. ;-) (Just kidding about that last one.)

I was just out at the new winery in Arrington today.........
It is a beautiful, serene setting....nice new winery...big porches and patios....up above looking over the vineyard.

They said they have already booked a few weddings in the fall...
Take a drive out there....if anything...they have wine tasting!

I hear they have a $4,000 booking fee there, grounds only. Confirm that, though.

I've been to several weddings w/receptions over here in my neighborhood at RiverwoodMansion.com 615-228-8892 Riverwood mansion. It is very nice and they have prices listed. Each one had different caterers that I think work with the location. They have an indoor and outdoor area.

My son got married in Nashville a few years ago, and we used the faculty club at Vanderbilt.
