Laurel Masse, former member of Manhattan Transfer covered Interlude on her first solo album "Alone Together" in 1984. it's a really beautiful song and version; in fact the entire album is one of the best albums i have ever heard

Hi Rlrl! Will look forward to hopefully find songs of that album from Youtube at the library... especially Alone Together... right now am on the old home computer and its so slow the turtle in the ad for a faster connection to the internet, would run lol. Pasting the links from the library to myself to be included in posts is a new habit ... chuckle... Thank you for suggesting a beautiful song
.... moves along pathyway... as long folds of cloth billow wind's
direction on this sunny day... now where is the dance center...
footfalls comes to a stop... hesistant... see Gerania and Sir MMC
talking through glass ... smiles to self and am immediately calmed
... hears drumming... hurries along path to where it seems to
be coming from ... rounding a corner, a circular shaped
auditorium appears... right next door!
The Complete Assaf Warm-Up - Broadway Dance Center
.... enters through open door to a loud semi-crowded room
of dancers... Assaf is talking now... each style leading away
from the main room like a bicycle rim... for now.. all dancers
are warming up together....
.... signals the warm-up instructors to ignore my presence...
this one is here to observe only... watches an instructor
work privately with one dancer in the far corner...
.... footsteps... a young man smiles as he brings over a
chair for sitting... Thanking him, attention is drawn to a
smaller room just off to an angle...
good to meet you, let me know how you found the tunes if you were able to hear them. i have the same issue with an outdated 8 year old computer--i have to rely on my office computer if i want to hear song samples
of my 500 or so vinyls, 200 CD's and 200 cassettes (not big by collector's standards) i would say the Masse album is one of the top 5 most beautiful recordings i have
I don't know if the original interlude had lyrics or not but masse's lyrics are a kind of wordplay where you're not quite sure what it's about until the end of the song lyric reveals what "interlude' really means
i think Alone Together became available on CD a few years ago
Currantly and usually listening to Slayer's song "New Faith" off the 2001 album God Hates Us All.
I feel this song because I have ill feelings towards organized religion. Nobody said it had to be "positive" songs

...yawn... been there, done that... nothing new or original is revealed in that path
If hell and slaying is your reality, have to it. If that's your emotion, have to it. What may be disturbing is that you would be accepted, though you move in the world expecting not to be. If that's your form of reality, nobody will interfere in it. You will be left to it. It won't stop them and they won't stop you.
