Gordon Lightfoot is not a member of any party, but was, at various times (or so he told me on November 2015) a member of the Liberal Party of Canada. Dead people can't vote or be members of a party.

The city of Chicago begs to differ.

PERFORMERS
Rage Against The Machine
Kate Bush
Sheryl Crow
George Michael
Missy Elliot
Willie Nelson
The Spinners

Performers who didnt make the cut this year:

Iron Maiden
Joy Division/New Order
Cyndi Lauper
Soundgarden
White Stripes
Warren Zevon
Tribe Called Quest

I thought Rage and George Michael were the only shoe-ins, but Im really puzzled about Kate Bush and Sheryl Crow making it. Though Iron Maiden and Soundgarden would make for sure though. Oh well, maybe next year for them.
While that’s certainly true, rock music itself is so vast that it covers everything from soft rock like the Eagles to death metal like Morbid Angel. A pop band like ABBA has enough rock qualities in their music that makes them worthy of being in a RRHOF.
