I was just wondering what rappers people on city-data listen too?It can be old and new rap,and mainstream and Underground.
Heres some of the stuff I listen to.
Cabrini Mob(Underground)
Dipset-Cam'ron,Jim Jones,Juelz Santana,Hell Rell
Messy Marv
Mistah F.A.B.
Snoop Dogg
Mobb Deep
Playaz Circle
Shawty Lo
Tupac
T.I.
Trick daddy
Ludacris
D-Block-Sheek Louch,Jadakis,Styles P
Kanye West
C-Murder
Thats the main people I listen to.I have alot of mix CDs with various people on them that I like too.And then I like alot of underground rap too.
Lil Wayne, Ludacris and TI are my faves getting airplay at the moment. I like Outkast too because they're different. Same for Field Mob - they have some crazy punchlines in their lyrics if you listen. When I'm feeling "southern" I'll blast some Trick Daddy or Rick Ross.
Hate the whole 50 cent/G unit I gotta a lotta money and nothing else to rap around songs.
I loved 50's first album but after that his rapping all seems to be about how much money he has and all the girls that want him - uh okay. And I'm probably the only black person under 25 who listens to rap music who doesn't like Nas or Jay Z. I like occasional songs, like Song Cry but overall I can't stand Jay Z.
Everytime I start a thread on rap someone always has to say something bad about it.If you don't have nothing nice to say try not to post in this thread.
Then you haven't heard real rap. Or you hate poetry and good beats. Either way, it's sort of tragic.
