I was posting on the "favorite scenes" thread and the idea for this one came to me.
Whenever I hear "Minstrel Boy" I think of "Zulu". Also of "The Man Who Would Be King" and Sean Connery on the bridge.
Whenever I hear "(I can't get no) Satisfaction", I see Lawrence Fishbourne rocking out on the deck of the river patrol boat.
Whenever I hear "It's a Long Way To Tipperrary" I think of the Germans on the return home in "Das Boot".
Whenever I hear the "Marseillses" I think of the scene in Rick's Americain in "Casablanca", particularly the lady playing the guitar.
Whenever I hear the Blue Danube I think of "2001, A Space Oddesey".
Whenever I hear "I Just Dropped In To See What Condition My Condition Was In", I think about "The Big Lebowski". And also wonder why Kenny Rogers went from rocker to country.
Whenever I hear "Danny Boy" I can see the "Memphis Belle" coming in over the fields while the crew is hand cranking the landing gear down. Also Albert Finney with the machine gun in "Miller's Crossing".
What are your?
