I mean songs that you were already familiar with and either disliked or were indifferent to until you heard them in a movie you liked.

I have two that I can think of off the top of my head:

Flowers on the Wall by the Statler Brothers from Pulp Fiction
A Swingin' Safari by the Billy Vaughn Orchestra from Mary & Max

It seems to help some songs to listen to them in a new light.

"The End" by the Doors played as the intro song to Apocalypse Now.
Perfect song for the Vietnam War and when you got on the plane for that long flight to Saigon your head kept telling you "This is the end."
Also, one of my favorite lines was "I love the smell of Napalm in the morning !"
That is why I want to be cremated when my time comes. Ha

Here are some I was previously unfamiliar with, that I heard in movies and they're now in my primary playlists:

Dennis Brown, "Things in Life", from "Chungking Express"

Guesch Patti. "Blonde", from "Pillow Book" (This is the actual film footage)
YouTube - ‪Ewan McGregor - The Pillow Book music video‬‏

Van Morrison "Into the Mystic", from an incredibly beautiful scene in "Immediate Family"

The music from the soundtrack of Terry Gilliam's "Brazil" was spellbinding:

Remember the Samba scene in "A Man and a Woman"?
