So What Happened to Polanski? (film, crime)

The most recent info I can find is that a hearing was scheduled for January 2010. Prior to that he was under house arrest in his chalet in Switzerland. Any info on his status?

Last I heard, he was in jail, but that's been a while.

The guy is a brilliant filmmaker. No doubt. But he also had sex with a child. He must answer for that crime. I hope he is prosecuted and punished to the fullest extent of the law.
