I'll watch it at some point- maybe not until it comes out on DVD. I rarely go the cinema and I certainly don't go out of my way to try and see something before someone else at the theater, while waiting forever in line hoping tickets don't sell out. Besides, I imagine it will be a long movie. Most movies are too LONG nowadays- watching it at home, I get the luxury of taking a break at my leisure. And as much as I still generally like the Spider Man movies, I despised the climax to Spiderman 2- a real letdown and disappointing last 30 minutes or so, leaving a some what nonchalant attitude regarding "Spiderman 3".

I totally agree with you but I'm stuck with a husband who's making me wear one of his Spider-man shirts while he wears the other to the premier. Sigh.

Yes, the ending to Spider-man 2 was disappointing ... corny rather IMO but I just get shut out when I say that to hubby. I'm stuck having to watch it when it comes out on Fri. Sigh again!

You left out an option for "I refuse to pay that much money to see a movie that I will be able to watch from home in 6 months". That one gets my vote.

Seriously, it just plain old is not worth the expense. The only movie that has not let me down in the last 10 years was The Lord of the Rings.

Never saw any of them. The last time I was interested in Spider Man was when I was 5 years old back in 1976.

It was cool seeing little kids in spidey costumes ... I had a good laugh! I also noticed a lot of people played hookie from work ... and school! It felt like a holiday or something!

I'll see it when it comes out on DVD so I don't spend so much on drinks and popcorn at the theater.
