It had been years since I'd watched A Fistful of Dollars, the first of the great Leone trilogy.
The plot is fine in principle but convoluted in execution. But the individual scenes are glorious. The three actors who play the Rojo brothers are beguiling, and Clint Eastwood may be an actor of limited range but most of his western roles fall right in that range, where he excels. The true stars of the film, however, are the director Sergio Leone and the composer Ennio Morricone (who, at age 87, is still scoring films). Leone's camera-work is innovative and fantastic even at this early stage in his career, and it cannot be emphasized enough how large a role Morricone's soaring orchestration plays in the end product.
All in all, a very enjoyable watch - and the best two films of the trilogy remain!
It's a story about an anti-social immortal, played quite well by Henry Rollins, whose life starts to unravel when a confluence of events disrupt his routine.
It's on Netflix and I highly recommend it if you like offbeat, dark humor.

Sad to see Sally Fields in this--times must be hard...
So many excellent roles in the past...
This one--underdeveloped script that thought cute could save it...it couldn't ...cause it wasn't...

I was pleasantly surprised
