If I'd been lucky enough to catch this on the big screen I would give 17 million stars, but as fate would have it, had to settle on a DVD viewing. You may recognize the protagonist, Shu Qi, who starred in The Transporter. From the opening scene:

Many Taiwanese absolutely hate this film. They say the line delivery in this movie is really, really awkward. Classical Chinese doesn't seem to work in movies.
